NTA TO HONOUR UK-BASED POLICY CONSULTANT, ADARAMODU

Ado-Ekiti – The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, is set to honour an ex-Nigerian Banker and United Kingdom-based Policy & Economic Consultant, Mr Kayode Adaramodu.

The event will be under the chairmanship of the legal icon, Chief Wole Olanipekun SAN, OFR while Aare Afe Babalola, the founder and Chancellor of Afe Babalola University will be the Father for the Day.

The recognition is part of the activities lined up to commemorate the 17th-anniversary celebrations of the media outfit, Adaramodu, who is to receive Award of Excellence in Social and Youth Empowerment.

Adaramodu, an Ilawe-Ekiti-born banker after a fulfilling career in banking left for the United Kingdom where he distinguished himself as a business analyst and policy consultant.

He is reputed for offering services on economic matters and statistics for policymakers including Bank of England.

According to the organisers, Adaramodu would be honoured for his philanthropic gestures, youths and sports development.

The theme for the anniversary and awards ceremony is “Nigeria’s Economic Sustainability: Diaspora Resources, Gender factor and the Media

Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, is expected to give the keynote address and Hon Abike Dabiri, Chairman, Nigeria Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).

Others awarded are His Royal Majesty Oba Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe, Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, Chief Wole Olanipekun, Senator Biodun Olujimi, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, Professor Kunle Ajayi and others.
