According to him, he prepared himself long before now with a determination to lead Ekiti State forward.
“I have been trying my efforts to secure jobs for people even when I was not in politics, doing community development jobs and lifting the spirits of Youths to achieve greatness. But I discovered that only government can achieve more than individuals, with this, I resigned from my job to further my education and to gain more knowledge about Governance on public policy and management”
On his fray to politics, Adaramodu said ” I joined the campaign train of Engr Segun Oni then, in the year 2007 to make life better for my people, thank God we were able to achieve it. I was given an appointment thereafter but I refused just because I needed to maximise my opportunities in the banking industry while leaving the opportunity in the political circle for others who were equally capable”
When asked about the level of distrust between the government and the people, he said “This is a great problem that we must attend to with all seriousness. Our leaders have impoverished our people and reduced them to be beggars. In Ekiti, this has to stop and we are committed to this task”.
On the agitation for zoning Governorship to Ekiti South, Kayode Adaramodu explained why Ekiti Southern person who is capable and prepared should be next governor.
