Family life of Kayode Adaramodu

Dr (Mrs) Olawumi Adaramodu

Kayode is married to Dr. (Mrs) Olawumi Adaramodu and they are blessed with children. Olawumi went to Chrisland Primary School, Opebi Ikeja, Lagos and Federal Government Girls’ College, Akure, Ondo state, Nigeria. She attended Medical School at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria and obtained Bachelor of Medicine and surgery (MBChB). She parades a postgraduate qualification in Public Health from the University of Liverpool and a Masters in Environmental and Public Health from the University of Salford, both in the UK.

She worked in various private and public institutions in different capacities within the medical profession in Nigeria, plus a stint with the World Health Organization (WHO), before relocating to the UK and obtaining her full registration to practice Medicine. She worked as Senior House Officer in Medicine and Psychiatry at various hospitals before moving into General Practice where she is currently a Consultant General Practitioner. She is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Olawumi has also obtained qualifications to work as Forensic Medical Examiner (FME) having gone through the Forensic Medical Examiner training at the College of Policing, UK. She is an affiliate member of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine. She has worked in various custodies in the UK as FME.
